alcalina and shila:jit dorado are made for the daily drop, but their mineral content makes them useful in a few everyday situations too. This guide gathers the practical, beyond-the-glass uses our community asks about most, with sensible amounts and simple steps.

A few unflavoured drops mix into almost anything you already use

alcalina is a concentrated source of fulvic and humic minerals in a few drops. Because it is unflavoured and water-soluble, it mixes easily into other everyday routines without fuss. shila:jit dorado is the stronger, more concentrated option, so it is used more sparingly.

Fulvic mineral drops branch from a dropper into water, tea, a smoothie, yoghurt and salad dressing, where they are mixed.
These five everyday foods and drinks establish the mixing choices before each use is explained.

None of the uses below are medical treatments. They are practical ideas for getting more from a bottle you already own, using small amounts and common sense.

Five uses beyond the drinking glass

Five measured mineral droplets are mixed separately into a smoothie, warm drink, breakfast bowl, salad dressing and soup.
The five vessels compare equal measured additions before the guide gives mixing notes.

Ten drops per 200 ml glass of filtered or bottled water

  • Add 10 drops of alcalina per 200 ml glass of filtered, reverse-osmosis or distilled water, which is the base serving on the bottle.
  • Give it a moment to disperse. There should be no noticeable taste.
  • See the water guide for the full method.

Stir 10 drops into any cup, hot or cold

  • Ten drops of alcalina stir into most drinks without changing the flavour.
  • Add it to a jug in the morning and sip through the day rather than dosing all at once.

Three to five drops per watering can, once a fortnight

  • Humic and fulvic substances are used in horticulture to support soil and root systems.
  • Add 3 to 5 drops per 5 litre watering can, roughly once a fortnight rather than with every watering.

One drop per 500 ml in a cat or small-dog bowl

  • Some owners add 1 drop per 500 ml to a pet’s fresh water bowl, or 2 drops for a large dog.
  • Keep amounts small, introduce gradually, and ask your vet first if your animal has any health condition or is on medication.

Patch-test one drop in a neutral carrier oil first

  • Fulvic minerals appear in some topical formulas. Mix 1 drop into 5 ml of a neutral carrier oil and patch-test it on a small area first.
  • Stop if there is any irritation. Avoid broken skin and the eye area.

Start low, and keep the bottle out of sunlight

A dropper progresses from one drop to a few in a glass, while a capped bottle is moved from a sunny sill into a closed cupboard.
The final sequence pairs gradual dosing with a closed cupboard, closing the section with use and storage basics.
  • Start small and build up. More is not better.
  • alcalina is the mild, everyday choice at 10 drops a serving. shila:jit dorado is far more concentrated, so a rice-grain of resin replaces the drops rather than adding to them.
  • Keep the bottle closed and out of direct sunlight.
